Alifatus Zahra Named the Best Achieving Graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UMLA Graduation Judiciary

Lamongan, July 29, 2026 – The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan (FEB UMLA) recognized outstanding student achievements during the 2026 FEB Graduation Judiciary, held on July 29, 2026. During the event, Alifatus Zahra, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Islamic Economics, was announced as the best-achieving graduate at the Faculty of Economics and Business.

This achievement recognizes Alifatus Zahra’s accomplishments in academic and non-academic activities, competitions, entrepreneurship, literacy, Islamic activities, and international programs throughout her studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan.

During her university years, Alifatus Zahra achieved several accomplishments at university and national levels. Among them, she won 2nd Place in PILMAPRES for Bachelor’s Degree Students, PTMA Indonesia League 2, 5th Edition (2025), 1st Honorable Mention in the 4th National PIMTANAS (2024), and 1st Place in the UNILA Business Plan Competition (2024).

In entrepreneurship and innovation, she received PKM-K funding in 2024 for the project “High-Nutrition Fish Feed from Crab Waste from the Paciran Coastal Area.” In 2023, she also received PKM-K funding for “Innovation of Water Henna Leaf Tea as an Alternative Solution for Women’s Health Problems.”

Her achievements also include arts, Islamic activities, writing, and social programs. She was the 1st Runner-Up of the UMLA Campus Ambassador Competition (2022), 2nd Place in the Girls’ Kultum Competition at the 4th MILAD UMLA (2022), 2nd Place in the District-Level Kultum Competition organized by UKM Mujaddid UMLA (2024), and 3rd Place in the Digital Islamic Preaching Video Competition at the 7th MILAD UMLA (2025).

In literacy and writing, Alifatus Zahra was selected as a writer in the 9th National Letter Writing Competition, with the theme “For You Who Are Far Away.” She also became the author of a book entitled “What If I Don’t Succeed” in 2025.

Her academic journey also included an international experience through the International Community Service Program (KKN) in Thailand in 2025–2026. In 2026, she was also recognized as the Best Participant 1 in Baitul Arqam Purna Studi.

To strengthen her professional skills, Alifatus Zahra completed several certifications, including AWP Syariah Certification, Halal Companion Certification from USG, and Junior Office Operator Certification from LSP-TIK, as well as participating in the Study Program Practicum Training.

During the graduation judiciary, Alifatus Zahra, who is familiarly known as Tutus, was also trusted to represent the graduates in delivering a message and reflection. In her speech, she shared her experiences during her university journey and expressed her gratitude to lecturers, family, friends, and everyone who supported her throughout her studies.

Alifatus Zahra’s journey shows that student success is not only about academic achievement. It also comes from the courage to compete, create, develop skills, participate in activities, and contribute to society.

Being named the best-achieving graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the July 29, 2026 graduation judiciary marks an important achievement in Alifatus Zahra’s journey and serves as an inspiration for other students to continue developing their potential and making meaningful contributions to their university.
