The Islamic Economics Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (Umla) successfully held the 2023 At-Tijaary Competition at the Budi Utomo Auditorium on Friday, January 26, 2024, from morning to afternoon. The competition was attended by finalists and their respective mentors.

The competition was open to high school (SMA), vocational high school (SMK), Islamic high school (MA), and equivalent students within the Bojonegoro Religious Affairs Office.

In her report, the committee chair, Farokhah Muzayinatun Niswah, welcomed the finalists and their mentors to the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan campus.

Farokhah also congratulated the finalists in both the TikTok video and essay competitions, with the theme "Strategies for Improving Islamic Financial Literacy and Inclusion."

"You are special because you have gone through several stages to reach the finals," he said.

The goal of this activity, Farokhah explained, is to increase Islamic financial literacy among the younger generation and to promote Islamic finance.

Finally, he reported that 15 teams participated in the final round, including 10 essay teams and 5 video competition teams.

1. First Place: Zeny Agustina Rohmawati from SMK N 1 Lamongan
2. Second Place: Zahra Aulia Rohmawati from SMK N 1 Lamongan
3. Third Place: Cavan Agubban Fawwas Shidiq from MAN 2 Lamongan

Essay Competition

1. First Place: Muhammad Raffiudin and his team from SMAN 2 Lamongan
2. Second Place: Hikmah Maulida from SMAN 3 Lamongan
3. Third Place: Nur Azizah and her team from SMKN 1 Lamongan (Alfain Jalaluddin Ramadlan/FRS)
