UMLA Islamic Economics Lecturer, Farokhah Muzayinatun Niswah, Becomes Speaker at the 2026 National Economics Seminar

Lamongan — The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan, will hold the 2026 National Economics Seminar under the theme “Digital Transformation and Business Development: Business Management Strategies and Digital Product Innovation for Future Business Sustainability.” The event will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the K.H. Hisyam Convention Hall, 10th Floor, Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan.

One of the main speakers at this seminar is Farokhah Muzayinatun Niswah, S.EI., M.Si., a lecturer in the Undergraduate Islamic Economics Study Program. Her presence is one of the key highlights of the event, as the seminar will not only discuss the development of digital business but also emphasize the importance of sustainable and value-based business management.

During the seminar, Farokhah Muzayinatun Niswah will share her insights on how digital transformation can be applied to business development, particularly through the perspective of Islamic economics. The material presented is expected to provide students with a deeper understanding of the importance of digital product innovation, business ethics, and adaptive business management strategies in response to current developments.

The seminar will also feature other speakers, namely Ikhwan Fahrudin, M.Pd., KKA Facilitator of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia and Head of IGI Tuban Regency, as well as Praditya Aditya, CEO of PT Duta Merpati Indonesia. The event will be moderated by Praditajaya Nantasya, a student of the Undergraduate Management Study Program at UMLA.

The organizing committee stated that this seminar serves as an important platform for students to broaden their knowledge of the digital business world. Moreover, students of the Faculty of Economics and Business are expected to understand changes in business patterns in the digital era and to develop innovative and sustainable business ideas.
